A modern twist on a classic shape, the 10 Vice Versa Cardigan is a fully reversible, oversized V-neck cardigan designed for maximum versatility. With its relaxed fit and thoughtful details, it’s the perfect layering piece for transitional seasons, whether you’re styling it through Autumn/Winter or Spring/Summer.

This compound raglan cardigan is worked top-down with approximately 10–15 cm / 4–6” of positive ease, and can be worked in a single strand of DK weight yarn for a beautiful stitch definition or a strand of Sport weight held with mohair lace weight for extra softness. The cardigan features a reverse stocking stitch body, deep twisted rib hems and cuffs, and a clean, double knitting button band. The beauty of the design lies in its reversibility: the cardigan can be worn as knitted or turned inside out, offering two distinct looks in one garment.

Construction begins at the back neck, with the yoke shaped using a series of increases to form the raglan lines and front V-neck. The raglan seams are defined by a mock seam, a single knit stitch that adds structure and visual interest.

Once the yoke is complete, the sleeves are placed on hold while the body is worked. The mock seam continues down the sides, flowing neatly into the twisted rib hem. Sleeves are then completed with deep twisted rib cuffs, shaped with decreases to create a wide, structured fit.

To finish, stitches are picked up around the neckline and worked in double knitting to form the neckband with three buttonholes. And just like that, your 10 Vice Versa Cardigan is ready to wear, inside or out.
